The ninth series of The Crystal Maze Online Adventure was produced from August 25 through September 11, 2020. Hosted by Robert and Joshua, the series consisted of thirteen teams.
Bookings for the series took place through The Crystal Maze Online Adventure Facebook group. On September 11, 2020, Flying Castle won the series over The Struggle and Neeps and Tatties respectively.
Development[]
Due to the overwhelming response for bookings for Series 7 and 8, bookings for the ninth series were announced on July 21, 2020. The Double Power, introduced in the previous series returned. The 100th game was moved from a special episode to the premiere of series nine with the players being composed of members from the Facebook group Game Night International another team from the same group were also included, increasing the total number of teams to thirteen. Fourteen teams were originally slated to compete, however, one team cancelled on the day and no replacement was able to be found.
